Disney Cruise Lines saves the day!  Disney's Fantasy cruise line picked up four men near Key West, Florida last Tuesday.  The men were floating on a raft signaling for help and the cruise liner rescued the four and offered medical attention to them.  Hats off to the land lubbers that have a heart for those who love the sea.  TW

"Fall crisp" outside, in the 50's, clouds are slowly waltzing across the sky with constellations and wishing stars all around.  There are twelve vessels anchored in Factory Bay tonight (twenty year sailors on the S/V Phyllis, a nice couple with a beautiful rigged trawler (motor sailor) and a cute dog named "Girlfriend"....).  Winds the last two days have been out of the north with gusts up to 28mph.   Today the dingy dock at Marco Rose Marina was full!  It is wonderful to see so many sailors visiting the bay!

Happy Valentine's!  Remember..."a happy wife is a happy life"!  TW

Tension in the bay today rose to a boiling point and was quickly defused. Still not sure what was the issue?  Will make it a point to find out tomorrow!  They made their presence known today as it involved a 55' cat/ketch with no problems that I could see, well other than it being a cat and heavy in the aft. (and kinda junky in the rear). Anyways, a little while later two marked C.C.S.D. boats drifted into the anchorage.  It was out of place but not all that uncommon!  We have had a lot of fishing boats running hot and fast in this no wake zone!  Blacked out pulling off snook lights... need I say more?
